I’m a law librarian and once-upon-a-time research lawyer. Occasionally I cobble together posts and articles on whatever strikes me – usually information studies, higher education, legal research, Can lit and news junkie stuff.
I edit the Creative Non-Fiction and Writer’s Life genres for Island Writer, the literary journal published by the Victoria Writers Society in Victoria BC.
I also write book reviews. My reviews of legal texts regularly appear in Canadian Law Library Review, published by the Canadian Association of Law Libraries. I also review children’s and other books, mostly non-fiction, for the online book review journal New York Journal of Books. When I get to them I put them up on this site too.
During the campaign for the 41st Canadian federal election, I volunteered my services as a Citizen Blogger for CBC News Canada Votes 2011 Your Take, for the British Columbia region. Those posts are also linked here.
