Envisioning National Justice Care

This is the last of three posts on the CBA event I attended recently, Envisioning Equal Justice Summit. Participants were treated to a lively lunch debate on the possibility of a national justice care system, à la national health care systems. What an idea, what a possibility: A publicly funded system to ensure (i.e. insure) access to justice for those who need it when they need it.

I wrote in some detail about the session at Slaw, Beverly Spencer wrote a superb summary of the debate positions for the CBA, and below are notes of some of the discussion during the debate itself.
